Several Model Art students were selected to show their artwork at the Bluegrass Regional High School Art Show and the All-State Elementary and Middle School Art Show, and three students' artworks were award-winning.
Lyla Anderson (Grade 1) and Haley Kim ('27) collectively won three awards at the All-State Elementary and Middle School Art Show. Anderson won First Place in Mixed Media, and Kim won First and Second Place in Digital Media. This show is sponsored by the Kentucky Art Education Association, and all artwork was on display at the Jessamine County Public Library. Other students who selected to display in the All-State art show were Calvin Brock (K), Zoe Clark (Grade 3), Graham McIntyre (K), Nora Payne (Grade 1), Ruth Higgs ('27), Tobias Sowders, ('27), and Benjamin Strain, ('27).
Serena Florell ('23) was the award winner of the Art Education Award in Ceramics in the Bluegrass Regional High School Art Show. The student artwork in the show was on view at the EKU Center for the Arts, and Florell's piece is on display in-person there currently. Alongside Florrel were several Model students selected to present in the virtual exhibition: Keshav Bhandari ('23, Ceramics), Nicole Tioukalova ('23, Ceramics), Elyssa Bradburn ('23, Ceramics), Malcolm Hale ('23, Ceramics), Lily Meade ('23, Ceramics), Hope Richardson ('24, Drawing), Claire Scarborough ('24, Drawing), Evie Hartch ('24, Digital Art), Parker Robertson ('26, Painting), Kat Cook ('23, Mixed Media), Kennedy Hendren ('23, Mixed Media).
