Location

Model Laboratory School is located on the Campus Beautiful of Eastern Kentucky University. 

You can look up the school in your GPS, or set your GPS to 521 Lancaster Ave, Richmond, KY 40475. You may also include the coordinates 37.73828° N, 84.30427° W.

  • If you are entering the Main Building, you will turn left onto Lancaster Avenue at traffic light #5 on the Eastern Bypass, then turn right onto "Model Drive."

  • If you are entering the Donovan Annex, you will turn left into the EKU Alumni Coliseum Lot, at traffic light #6 on the Eastern Bypass.

Campus Map & Parking

Visitor Parking

Guest parking is available in two locations near the school: the front of the Main Building and the far left corner of the upper Alumni Coliseum lot.

Visitors can register their vehicles online to park in a Model visitor spot. Follow the instructions below. 

 1) Navigate to parking.eku.edu.

  • For mobile users, click the “Menu” dropdown, and scroll down to “Visitor Parking Pass.”

  • For desktop/laptop users, click the page titled “Visitor Parking Pass”

2) Click the link entitled “Are you a visitor?” First time users must register for an account by clicking the link titled “Register.” Otherwise, log in using your username and password.

3) First time users must “Add new vehicle” and fill in the correct information for the car being registered including license plate, make, style, and color.

4) Visitors' passes are free. To register, click “Buy Permit” and scroll down to the link entitled “Visitors—Click Here.”
