Humane Society Club and Art Club

Youth Leadership Madison County

Enrichment Classes Begin

There’s music in the air at Model after school as Enrichment Classes for guitar and piano began this week as part of the FAME (Foster Academy for Musical Excellence) program.  Eastern Kentucky University faculty and students are involved in providing individual and group lessons to students of all ages.  Strings classes and ballet will begin next week.

Model Scores 7th in KY on ACT

Composite scores from ACT for Kentucky schools have been released, and Model High School ranks 7th in the state with a composite average score of 21.7.  Current seniors took the test in March as juniors as part of the state’s accountability testing system.  ACT scores are used as one part of college acceptance and scholarship determination.
